Did you not read the lawyers statement? It's on some other sh!t that is not hazing.

I never stated that it was simple hazing. Matter of fact, I went as far as to state that the Dolphins were wrong for riding with Incocknito and should have known when enough was enough.

The Dolphins players are upset with Martin because he took the shyt public. Martin did break the code but he obviously felt like he had no choice. Martin has played too much football in his life to not understand what he was doing. This was going to happen in our ultra-hyper media cycle that takes situations like this and rips the scab open and refuses to allow them to heal. Personally, I don't care who Incognito was. I would have busted his ass simple and plain. But Martin is a kid and I think people are forgetting that. The Dolphins are foul for riding with Incocknito and I have a lot of ties to Miami on a college level. Protecting your own means many, many things. Most importantly, it means knowing when to leave a kid alone and make him feel accepted. How can you have Incocknito's back when he's not even a Dolphins cornerstone? He's been all over the league and he's been an @sshole at every stop of his career.
It doens't seem as if shyt would have stopped even if he put his hands into Incognito's world. The whole team doesnt seem to like dude.

:ooh:

Have you had enough of the Jonathan Martin-Richie Incognito saga yet? Too bad. It's not going anywhere, especially with the explosive statement released Thursday by David Cornwell, an attorney hired to represent Martin in the harassment matter.

Cornwell made an emphatic point, via Pro Football Talk, that Martin's "toughness is not an issue" and then later slammed the door with an allegation that a player said rather ... aggressive things about Martin's sister.

"Jonathan Martin’s toughness is not at issue," Cornwell said. “Jonathan has started every game with the Miami Dolphins since he was drafted in 2012. At Stanford, he was the anchor for Jim Harbaugh’s ‘smash mouth’ brand of football and he protected Andrew Luck’s blind side."

Cornwell described Martin's harassment as something "far beyond" what normally happens in NFL locker rooms.

"Jonathan endured harassment that went far beyond the traditional locker room hazing,” Cornwell said. “For the entire season-and-a-half that he was with the Dolphins, he attempted to befriend the same teammates who subjected him to the abuse with the hope that doing so would end the harassment. This is a textbook reaction of victims of bullying. Despite these efforts, the taunting continued. Beyond the well-publicized voice mail with its racial epithet, Jonathan endured a malicious physical attack on him by a teammate, and daily vulgar comments such as the quote at the bottom. These facts are not in dispute."

That quote? It is a doozy, coming from an unnamed teammate, and it involves some highly inappropriate things directed towards Martin's sister.

"We are going to run train on your sister. ... She loves me. I am going to f*** her without a condom and c** in her c***."

Say whatever you want about things that happen in locker rooms, or even between friends. Saying something like that is incredibly inappropriate and completely unacceptable.

Cornwell's clearly not afraid to stir things up and he's done just that with his Thursday statement about Martin's situation.

I think its more a matter of the whole team is trying to close ranks and protect their house. Everyone that stated that Martin's family is about to shake down the entire franchise are positively CORRECT.

Got a point :ehh: sad thing is there can be so many anti-bullying campaigns but bullying will never stop.Whats funny is if Martin walks away with a huge sum he may look like a punk in most people and players eyes but this would be a landmark case in not only NFL but in sports. Best believe his lawyer will have a name too.

I bet lawyer is licking his/her chops at a possible legal battle. :shaq:
If Martin wins, think of all the money that lawyer will see in the future. :lawd:
He/she might become the next Cochrane :whew:

Exactly. Martin will literally be highest paid offensive lineman ever :bryan: Who knows how far this can go.NFL might as well cut him the check now.An on-going legal process will hinder a great season (ratings wise) for them.Dolphins playing on Monday Night Football wont make this go away  is his lawyer black?

And the story turns again. Thought Martin was being a punk, but this is on some other shyt!!!
That ain't no toughening up! He going up against an organization, getting out was the right thing.

Why they getting at Martin like that? He would be fine in another locker room cause that not how things go down to those extreme levels.
Like I said earlier today, Martin and his people are too smart to leave the team and file a lawsuit unless he has some serious ammo. He's going to get paid and we're going to see a steady drip of some crazy stories.

Say what you will about Martin being soft or w.e. but Incognito is a known bad guy, he's one of the dirtiest players in the NFL. Martin could have handled it better but Incognito is a straight up ass hole and deserves to be out of the league. :camby:

The more info that comes out on this case the more the more I would say Martin is handling this the right way.

I don't get why the Dolphins players are talking about this so freely in the media giving them golden quotes to run with and shape this story. Martin obviously has some shyt on some of these guys and they're all in the media like ":manny: shyts all good here. We're all friends"

It's like they don't know the organization is about to get rocked when everything comes to light.
