In this instance you just say no comment. Them taking a side or implying Incognito was liked isnt a PC answer imo, it's their honest belief.

Yep. Especially when taking Incognito's side is of no benefit to them or the team because he's gone either way. If anything, it makes it look like they're supporting Incognito. BUT there would be a benefit to the team if they supported Martin, considering he might be willing to come back and they'd get their starting LT back. Speaks volumes IMO, they could have just as easily said nothing

no comment sounds even worse...

because now you leave it up to interpretation and the public will automatically assume shyt is straight chaos in that locker room. Saying "both guys were great, I have no idea whats going on" is easily the best way out. You have to distance yourself as far as possible from this bullshyt.

I dont see any Martin comments being posted here so maybe im off but...

Even Philbin said that Martin never approached him about the bullying and that the first he had ever heard of it was yesterday via Martin's rep; even though him and Martin had been talking all week about why Martin left the team.

Likely didn't believe the Dolphins would do anything about it (same way he likely feels they didn't do anything about the hazing) so why bother. He took the smoking gun straight to the league and media, probably as an F U to the Dolphins.

LMAO, this COMPLETELY describes the relationship I have with my boyz. It's the only way men can show each other love and it not be weird :manny:

Basically, if we DON'T clown each other then we're not really boys :ld:

Anyone who leaves a VM on one of their co-workers' phone calling them a racial slur is an idiot. And we may try and dress it up as something else, but pro athletes are co-workers. They are there to make money. As every athlete reminds us each time they leave a team to sign for more $ elsewhere, it's a business. It isn't a "brotherhood" the way you and your friends are. If your friend is an a$$hole to you, you can stop hanging out with him and generally avoid him. Understand the difference?

Dude bullied him so much that he made him sit next to him on the team flight. Martin only sat next to him and smiled in the pic because of the voicemail Incognito left. He was scared that if he didn't smile, Incognito would follow through with the threats he left in the voicemail. Right? :laff:

Look under the picture that says "now his your friend?"

I'm sticking to my theory. Incognito fukked up with that voicemail, but is getting a bad wrap for all of this. Meanwhile, Martin is being an oversensitive fakkit.

No one finds this weird, at all? The media is trying to portray Incognito as a racist bully and Martin as an innocent victim, and yet all the Dolphins players are basically backing Incognito; who is already off the team, so it's not like they're trying to convince him to come back or anything. Meanwhile, you'd think they'd take Martin's side in hopes of showing support and making him feel like they'd welcome him back with open arms because he's our starting LT

The media is trying to portray

Is this suppose to be surprising? The outcast being less popular than the ringleader of this whole mess is not exactly surprising.

If I were to guess, Richie being the dumb oaf he is had no idea what he was saying or doing to Martin meant anything. Like this was par for the course and good natured ribbing. Meanwhile, Martin had this planned for a minute that he was going to leave the team and expose the locker room. Clearly he has evidence with the voicemail. Richie hung himself without even knowing it. Martin flipped the script and is taking the entire ship down with him. I'm sure Martin has his own internal issues as well, but there had to have been some planned manipulation here too.

Doubt it. I bet it was voicemails AFTER Richie name was put in the media
