there's plenty of redneck fukkers and ignorants @ssholes in the league

Richie got the short end of the stick cause a bytch ass teamate decided to make a private voicemail that was obviously a joke public

And I'd say fukk you to anyone caught saying racist shyt...

Both are wrong....but people are defending the white boy like he did nothing wrong....

That's what has me like :what:

what exactly is ground for a lawsuit here ?

The NFL locker room is still considered a workplace. If they were doing this sort of shyt to him there and the Dolphins Organization knew about it and did nothing he could sue the team.

That's the part that some of yall keep overlooking. The NFL and these teams are business and the players and everyone on staff are it's employees. They have the same rights and protections that all employees have.

what sort of shyt ? please be specific cause I've been following this story from the jump and I can't remember reading any account of constant harassment & bullying

or are you referring to a voicemail that we now know the alleged victim was passing around in the locker room and laughing about ?

You can't use the old "They say so we can say it" excuse. Fact is, it's a double standard that white people have to live with. Like I said before, Black people didn't event that word, that word didn't come into America's consciousness when rap music started. Its a word that has been used for centuries, we didn't open it up for anybody. That's just a weak ass excuse for white people wanting it both ways.
We've been through this a million times and while it sounds great in theory, it's not what happens. I live in the bay and see Mexicans and all sorts of Asians use that word with each other, we put it out there in the mainstream and we need to accept responsibility for that. Furthermore, this isn't the case of some wigger walking up to you sayin "sup nikka, you got change for a dollar" this was a guy whose black friends let him use that word, it's not about a white guy wanting it both ways in that case, it's about black people who only saw it one way. I'm not getting into the bigger debate, I'm debating this actual event and the circumstances that fostered it.

Any sort of rookie hazing can be construed as harassment and bullying.

Always said there's more to this story that we don't know because things aren't adding up. Starting to see what's happening here and everyone's motives are becoming a little bit more clear...

Just my personal guess, but at this point, what I think happened is the following...

What Incognito's dad said is true and Martin is a headcase who has mental problems and uses drugs.

Martin has a breakdown in the Dolphins cafeteria last week after a stupid prank. A prank that he was involved with when it was done to another player just a week earlier.

Martin goes to rehab/get some kind of help for his issues, that are more do to his mental sickness and just not being fit for the NFL than anything actually done in the locker room (remember, he sent Incognito a text just last week saying he wasn't blaming any of the players for his breakdown, it was "just the culture of fooball").

Dolphins are made aware of this and talk to Martin about possibly putting him on the "Non Football Injury List"

Martin, knowing that his pay for the rest of the season isn't guaranteed if he's placed on the NFI list, comes up with this "unsafe work environment" story to ensure he gets paid for the rest of the season and possibly a settlement beyond that. Which is probably his parents' idea, considering they're attorneys.

Incognito, the @sshole class clown is accused of bullying and that voicemail he jokingly sent Martin is used as evidence to back such claims.

Just my opinion as of right now, considering what's unfolded. Don't expect anyone to agree at all, but this makes more sense than the story the media is giving us. The two things that has me most skeptical is the fact that Martin sent Incognito a text last week saying he didn't blame teammates, and then suddenly changes his tune; and also, Incognito was vehemently claiming his innocence on Twitter. Why would he do that if he knew he was actually bullying Martin and there was evidence to support those claims?

Incognito deserves whatever comes his way for leaving that dumb voicemail and putting himself in this position in the first place, but I don't think he's a racist, I think he just used poor judgment. Again, my own personal opinion. And also the opinion of all of his teammates and past teammates.

There hasn't been a single person yet that's said this dude is actually a racist bully. Not one. And every single player/ex-player asked has stood up for him. I find that interesting. But let the Coli tell it, and they're all just "c00ns" covering up for a racist guy that they have no allegiance to anymore, and there's no benefit in doing so.

After seeing that TMZ video, it put into some perspective into this.....and what might possibly be going on here. Incognito seems ike the typical drunk out of control at times meathead white football player who'll say outlandish stuff (like "nikka")....... but at the end of the day would stick up for you in a fight as his teammate, and ultimately he means no harm (He probably does need anger managemtnt, but that's another issue and not an excuse in any way) Seeing the video doesn't quite match the initial impression you get from READING the description. ie he doesnt come across as a racist the way the article portrayed it.....it's not in the vein of the Riley Cooper vid.

With that now being said.....I will need to HEAR the voicemail before making further judgement.

then it's the NFL that's got a problem

No, because if the NFL can always deny it. The Dolphins organization are the ones who were there and saw everything going doing. The NFL would only be liable if they knew it was happening and did nothing to stop it. I'm pretty sure the NFL does have rules about hazing. Hell the Dolphins organization probably has rules about hazing, but they looked the other way and might have to deal with the consequences.
