If you are trying to show the disgusting nature of the word, then yes, but the way Tarintino uses it? no.

With Tarantino it's a mixed bag. The main instance where he used it and it bothered me was in Pulp Fiction in that scene that he specifically wrote for himself, that was straight up bullshyt and Sam Jackson shouldn't have let him slide for that shyt. White folk use that word casually amongst themselves so it makes sense that in some films it'd be the same way. It shouldn't be shown as white folks casually using it around black folks and them not feeling ANY sort of way about it though.

generally though we're talking about real life shyt and in a real life setting.....White folks CAN use the word, but they need to stop acting appalled when they get cussed out, lose they job, or get beat the fukk up over it. White folks want to be able to use the word without repercussions and that in and of itself is bullshyt because BLACK people can't use that word without repercussions. Let some young black kid run up on some older brotha who part of the Nation of Islam saying nikka all disrespectful like and see what happens to him.

Damn you told us what he said and everything, preciate it dog :ohhh:

My bad :heh:

Nah, be he basically went off on people for trying to compare "nikka" and "Cracka" and said he don't want to hear no bullshyt about what some white people playing dumb and acting like it's cool for them to use the word just because a handful of black dummies told them it was ok. He said if they really believe that bullshyt they should go to a black neighborhood and say it to see what happens to them. He also called out the players in the locker room for letting that shyt slide and reinforced that it aint never cool to let white folks slide with that shyt.

Nobody tried to disqualify you from talking about race, but you made a bunch of half ass assumptions and weak analysis coming from a clearly perspective-lacking place.

my analysis is that our perspective, no matter how "qualified", doesn't matter. You and I thinking a comment should be construed as racist, doesn't necessarily mean that Martin MUST think so, as well. He's entitled to his own opinions and can draw the line on interactions wherever he sees fit. No one should be able to tell anyone else what they're required to be offended by. People draw the line at all different places. For football players, in that environment, usually there's more room for leeway when it comes to offensive remarks. So people saying "how could the Dolphins players let this happen, they're c00ns" are off base, IMO. Because, as I said earlier, you can't just use real-life logic and society's standard moral compass and try to apply it to an NFL locker room. It's a completely foreign place with its own rules, regulations, and standards of behavior.

And at this point, we're all making assumptions because there's not much to go by. Very little evidence has been presented in regards to anything. It's a message board, if shyt was black and white and open and shut, there wouldn't be much to discuss.

Things depend on social circle. Rock stations you can refer to a girl as a bytch in the hook as well as call a guy a dikk...but you can't do it on a hip hop station! If a girl acting like a bytch it is what it is. Black women frown up about those things with regularity and I lose my mind and I'm referring to another woman being an a$$hole.

Then you got black people frowning on smoking weed like its some gangsta ish, haha. I see weed like the movie 1/2 baked...just some stupid fun.

Black people are just more emotional and over the top about things...we all can't be Ricky Williams that's laid back and cool. I just prefer Ricky Williams type of people and how he addressed the situation.

Ladies and gentlemen, this is why kids got raped at Penn State. This logic, that the locker room is its own sovereign country where laws, morality, and accountability don't apply. We are told not to use logic and society's moral standard.

Just remember that everyone associated with Penn State said Paterno was a good guy. Even after they found out he allowed a predator to rape children, they rioted in Paterno 's defense. Had a candle light vigil at his house after he was fired. A man who knew and essentially condoned pedophilia.

Those football players are Black men before they are football players, so they are c00ns if they don't find anything wrong with it. I'll put it to like this, There were Blacks who ran with Harriet Tubman and there were Blacks who chased Harriet Tubman. Let Incognito call their mother a ****** and see how fast the tap dancing stops. Locker room setting or not, you shouldn't turn off your dignity and self respect once you enter the locker room.
