It's more to it than that. As a person who has been on the edge. I can say sometimes things get bad and in order to keep from doing something extremely detrimental you seek help from others. He might not have felt he had anyone else to turn to so he went to the hospital. Look at all yall calling him soft and weak. He'd still be that same same soft weak person if he had killed Incognito. I like Ricky, don't get me wrong. Very complex, intelligent dude with a good heart but he sounds like an idiot here, especially given his past.
agree to disagree fam. Ricky had his demons but at least he wasn't a bytch, and didn't drag any of his contemporaries in the mud. All dude wanted was peace. If it wasn't for his contract legalities, he would've just retired in his prime without any type of media circus. What Martin appears to be doing is using Incognito as a scapegoat because he doesn't have the heart to play professional football.

All I am saying is that when a man leaves his children behind, without contact, to go find himself that is a bytch move. Much worse. So Ricky shouldn't be calling anyone soft. I find what he did really soft but that wasn't the end of his chapter. He went on to do great things after that. Shouldn't Martin be given the same chance?

It's so funny that you guys are trying to move the goalposts now that new details have surfaced. Trying to turn this into "Is Incognito a racist for saying the n-word even if Martin let him?" I've already said Incognito deserves any repercussions for putting himself in this position. That's the risk you take when you have a controversial "inside joke" with someone. When that joke gets exposed to the outside world, you're now on the hook for any backlash. He isn't innocent in this whole ordeal, but he's also not a racist bully.
