their line was not very talented individually. they had a few talented guys with some big holes as well. and Jonathan Martin was one of the biggest holes.

its quite conevenient that the week he got demoted is when this shyt all comes out.
add to the fact that he is mentally weak and possibly unstable and that was his breaking point but he chose to go the bytchass route instead of manning up.

thats what sheltered people that have been given everything all their lives do. he doesn't know how to handle himself because he's never really had to. his parent s have done it all for him, and the funny part is they are still leading the charge here.

dude needs to just man up.

don't tell someone to their face it that they don't have a problem with them then go behind their back and say you do.

where they do that at??

straight feminine tendencies right there.

If you were in the same boat how would you have handled it?

But camaraderie is also built up by proving yourself to those you play with. When you question what someone is bringing, you test them wanting to know they'll stand up for themselves because you know they'll stand up for you on Sundays.

You can't protect anyone else if you can't protect yourself. :heh:

I've been in locker rooms and clubhouses for 25+ years, across 3 of the "major" sports, and comraderie/trust/team building has never been done to the extremes in this story.

The only people who got ripped on like this were guys who weren't liked, for reasons running from sub-par performance, to having a funny last name. The one time I ever heard remarks regarding a mom or race, the kid quit in the middle of the game, and the guy who made the comments was benched.

These Dolphins teammates are well beyond "testing"...

Incognito was the wrong person to employ for this job.

Oh wait, there's more......

Incognito investigated for molestation

Miami Dolphins lineman Richie Incognito was investigated last year for harassing a volunteer at the Dolphins' annual golf tournament by allegedly molesting her with a golf club, according to Aventura, Fla., police.

The original police report states that the alleged incident happened at the Turnberry Resort & Club in Aventura, but no charges were ever filed against Incognito.

The 34-year-old volunteer told police Incognito had been drinking and was "acting very inappropriate towards her," and that she went to police after Incognito said he wouldn't apologize.

The report states the the female volunteer told police that Incognito "used his golf club to touch her by rubbing it up against her vagina, then up her stomach then to her chest. He then used the club to knock a pair of sunglasses off the top of her head.

"After that, he proceeded to lean up against her buttocks with his private parts as if dancing, saying 'Let it rain! Let it rain!'" the report states. "He finally finished his inappropriate behavior by emptying bottled water in her face."

The story was first reported Thursday by WPLG-ABC in Miami.

The woman, who is black, told several media outlets she has declined to talk because she had signed a confidentiality agreement. Incognito, who is white, was suspended by the Dolphins on Sunday for conduct detrimental to the team amid accusations he bullied and used racially charged terms against teammate Jonathan Martin, who has since left the team. Martin is biracial.

Martin, a second-year player, is with his family in California, where he is undergoing counseling for emotional issues.

The NFL is investigating whether Incognito harassed or bullied Martin, and whether their teammates and the organization mishandled the situation.

Trip... as the Black Israelites say to random black men passing by: come home brother

It doesn't matter how long he has been "clean" just as it has never mattered how long on whether some garden variety clown like Chad Johnson is "dirty." Those assessments exist to be validated by convenient logic. On both sides. And I know you know as much. I know this because I do not believe you would spend time posting on this message board as opposed to others if you didn't know as much. I know you see Chad Johnson being grilled for dancing and then Brett Favre being celebrated and tossed softballs as the next guest on the same show. I know you see Charlie Sheen and Robert Downey having issues with drugs, prostitution and whatever else and the housewives still cheering for them when they hit the daytime talkshow circuit while any black dude who does the same gets an inescapable label.

O'Reilly is an Ivy Leaguer. So are many of the power elite on both sides of the aisle. When I see cats like Sharpton, I recognize a charlatan right off the bat. You telling me you don't have the same vision on your side of things? Limbaugh and O'Reilly would pounce on this for the same reason they pounce on whatever else they do. Stop it.

Oreilly went to Marist. Marist College. with Rik fukking Smits.

My whole issue with this story is the idea that people can determine who needs to be toughen up and why. I highly doubt Martin lacked the toughness to play football, having played it in high school and college. So for 3rd parties to determine he doesn't meet this bullshyt tough standard and he needs a goon to go in on him irks the shyt out of me. There is no mandate that says you have to prescribe to some tough standard in life, even in football such things doesn't exist, so no there is never a need to act an ass in order to toughen somebody up.

I believe he has a Master's from Harvard

That's correct. He says he went to Harvard...but my Irish bredren is a Marist grad. Marist unfortunately is no longer Catholic. He should have went to Manhattan or Siena like a good Irish lad.
