Not sure what the kidnapping charge is for...
He forced the grounds keeper into the house at gun point, and started interogating him and when he didn't get the answers he wanted he pistol whipped him twice chipping his front teeth. Injuries fresh as he fled to the police department to complain. Kidnapping is simple, If I try to leave and you do not allow me to go, that's kidnapping.

It was in the heat of the moment tho. He'd really have to be a soft/p*ssy nikka to call someone when you in the middle of an argument/fight with one other nikka. He got into a fight with nikka working on his house and pistol whipped him. Wasn't like he was at the club or something around his nikkas.
Wasn't heat of the moment at all. He interrogated homeboy before pistol whipping him.

You know exactly what I mean, so don't be daft or split hairs.
I think the problem is that some of you get your notion of what a "gangsta" is from film and television.. They aren't like Michael Corleone, Walter White or Stringer Bell...99% of them are sociopaths or psychopaths with no self discipline or moral code...

John Gotti who is the prototype of the modern gangster killed his neighbor for accidently hittin his son in a car accident... He later nearly beat a man to death over a parking space dispute (and this is while he was the boss of a hundred million dollar criminal enterprise and on the cover of Time magazine)

Websters definition of gangster is a' member of a group of violent criminals'

What Ross is accused of doing is both "violent" and "criminal".. So by definition it was gangster...

Now salute this man for finally personifying what you've mocked him for perpetrating..

:salute:

Or admit that being a gangster is nothing to be proud of or aspire to be...

Can't have it both ways...

I feel all of this....but it would've been gangsta if he pistol whipped someone over Gunplay's chain getting taken. Or pistol whipped a GD when they were trying to extort him. Or forced his way on stage when Trick Trick blocked the entrance.

Not beat up Vlad. Not step to Kreyshawn. Not beat up a gardener.

If you're a gangster you gotta be a gangster. You can't just pick soft targets. Diddy just caught an assault charge, I don't think anybody in their right mind would paint him as "gangster".

And for the record, no, this type of shyt isn't anything to aspire to or be proud of....but nobody put a gun to Ross's head and made him play this roll. He pops a lot of shyt, so people expect him to back it up. Some of these guys are playing a roll because they have the money/people to sell it to the public....I mean....Chris Brown is a Blood. Anybody can be a "gangster" nowadays, when they obviously aren't.

Therein lies the dilemma because the guy is a legit business man at this point....he owns like 30 Wingstops....he lives in a mansion, and has a gardener....but he's still trying to handle shyt as if he's a gangster. Whether or not he's actually a gangster doesn't even matter at this point.

Good points...

But gangsters do terrorize and violate civilians and people not in "the game" ALL THE TIME... It's pretty naive to think that "the code" is a real thing...

Yeah, definitely. That's why I said:
And I'm :what: at "gangsters don't fukk with civilians". Some of y'all watch too many movies.

Fred.

But you gotta be on that bullshyt 24/7....not just with civilians.

If we're being real here any random ass millionaire could probably beat the fukk out of his maid, or butler, or gardener, and beat the charge....and a few might do that solely because they know that....but that don't make them a G, it makes them an a$$hole. And the rap game is full of guys living out fantasies, and doing shyt solely because of an image they boxed themselves into.
