So you want Ross to rap off beat? :skip:

Nah breh.. You know what I'm trying to say lol

He's touching on sensitive issues and his emotion doesn't quite fit the themes

Listen to 2 Pac's White Man's World

Listen to the passion in his voice. Listen to Ice Cube's The Wrong nikka To fukk Wit

Hell.. Listen to Ross' Yellow Diamonds

When you touch on sensitive issues you need to bring it.. You can't use the laid back sleepy flow on a song like foreclosures

nikka.. Bring the pain and anger

I feel you boss :ehh:

Foreclosures to me is Ross' best song ever by far.

It's a great song with a great concept but I swear it lacks the proper emotion

Will got some explaining to do with this one man.. He brought it from a content standpoint

But it's like he was in the studio chillen when he recorded it.. It doesn't sound inspired

Disappointed in this one. There was nothing I was anticipating more after Black Dollar, which is 10x better, but this let me down. That stretch of commercial joints was a big downer, and the best song I had already played over 50 times from Black Dollar. There are a couple bright spots here and there, but nothing coming close to the classic joints from Deeper Than Rap, Rich Forever, Teflon Don, and Black Dollar.

I hear you, but I don't think it detracts to much. He's a product of Jay and it's clear as day at this point. Jigga doesn't yell and scream at the mic when he drops facade and raps about socially conscious affairs either (and it's still super effective). If anything, Ross sounds half conflicted about everything, and I don't think approaching it like K.Dot would work in his favor...at all. Doesn't really fit his character type in his music, imo.

I def don't agree about Foreclosures though (We Gon Make it either). He sounded damn near like somebody's concerned father figure throughout the entire thing: even elevating his voice towards the middle and end.

Maybe he could work on his cadence a little, in the way Mos Def delivers something like Mr. nikka, sounding like the audio version of this: :beli:.

I can't see how yall can call this mediocre.

The lyricism, the flow on this album is best ever for Ross.

The girls songs a Lil outta place but it's not taking away from the first 9 songs at all

Smile mama smile is one of the best songs Ross ever made

I figured this wouldn't be better than black dollar. Black dollar and rich forever his best projects

Still this is dope 8 out of 10

I want one more trap song up here too
