It is his best album. How isn't it? Front to back, it bangs, with no skippable tracks. No forced rnb tracks. Flawless beats. Old school homages paid to great mcs of the past. Scarface jeezy kanye jayz all gave great appearances. Album is dope as fukk. I was at my job talking with this nikka who HATES Ross and even he came into work saying, "man, Ross just blessed the streets with a classic," on some shyt.

Y'all nikkas saying this album is weak or average are not fooling anyone. You're on some shyt.

Time might make me change my mind about Mastermind. But there are no wack or mediocre tracks on this joint. The Weekend joint is the only one I will skip, but not because it's wack. Throw in Oyster Perpetual as the intro, Oil Money, and Box Chevy. Album is beyond ridiculous.

I feel the same way about the weeknd joint. Not wack, but not for this album. shyt feels out of place. Poor decisions would be a good addition to the album, too.

Am I the only person that finds all the quotes people are dropping in here wildly generic and marginal?

I've literally been saying this.

People are out here quotes hooks......no metaphors, similes, punchlines. There's not many bars on the album. I've spent the whole last 3-4 days listening to this album and there's just not much there....Look around on twitter. I'm pretty sure if you're like me you follow people who are into rap. The most quoted bar on the whole album from what I've seen is "All I want is 100 million dollars and a bad bytch."

The production is really carrying this album. Ross has such good mic presence that most people don't give a shyt. Me being into lyrics it's a glaring flaw in the album.

Just dl'd this tonight, and played it on the way to work. Got about 6 songs in.

It bangs, sounds good in the whip at night. I'd agree with the people saying the production carries it, but also don't want to understate how well Ross can portray a picture. Might not be Lupe Fiasco with the bars lol, but he does give you a nice image with his lyrics.

Rick Ross got amazing production.. He's in a great spot.. But let's be real about his lyrics.. They are pretty basic, it's 2014 you ain't fooling us.. He's from fla dade county.. how many lyricists come outta the fla.. All they got is flow and murder/drug talk.. I'm not hating but that's what that state produces..

No, this is his best album by far. It is his first legit classic. I don't see anyone else releasing a better album this year. This album probably has a lot of nikkas looking at their upcoming albums and thinking "I gotta step it up before releasing this"
