They both have the tendency to do these "Coasting" songs where they know the listener won't care what they say. "I'm The Man" is a perfect example of 50 not even trying. (Hell, it was Sonny Digital's original track anyways, 50 just added a few lines, the song was already done)

For Ross here's an example, "The same hoes....Justin Beiber fukked the same hoes.......Me & that Dos Equis nikka fukk the same hoes" Okay, he didn't say that last line. But I think I know when Ross knows he isn't rhyming. He takes advantage of that & the audience who doesn't give a fukk. I'm going to have to see what Ross sounds like on Epic. But I tend to notice he does this on his singles. The same as 50, he takes the bet no one is going to be listening that carefully.

There was a time in rap where you couldn't do that if you had the spotlight. To see two icons do this often, it makes me wonder if they consciously know the production doesn't call for it. Maybe they both don't really feel the song & too "in the moment" to say if a room of people are gassing up the track "Whoooo" You can get lost in that atmosphere. :francis:
