Yea til Wale says some shyt like "Meeks a great artist I think he deserves to have sold more records"

And Meek sees a headline like "wale says meek needs to sell more records"

Meek sees a retweet and gets all :pacspit:  and starts wilin again. He can't help it :laff:
:mjlol::russ: that's exactly how this went down

Why do y'all dislike people from the streets so much? Serious question cause you guys sound like you have a grudge with black folks who grew up poor. Just reading comments I can quote endless posts where posters instead if saying "Meek is a bytch for that". They say something like. " Meek is a bytch for that and street dudes are emotional and fakkits and that they are fatherless and poor and to be disliked.".

I'm on both sides of the fence with this.

Meek does conduct himself like a dude who lacks guidance & mentorship. If he can't get those things from someone he trusts, then his outbursts will continue to make him look bad. I wonder if he doesn't give Wale the time of day simply because Wale's image & persona aren't of a "street" dude. Wale was talking about some real shyt during that Breakfast Club interview, and you saw how Meek attacked him.

But on the flipside, it's downright scary how quickly the WORLD decided to take a dump on the guy who made something from nothing (Meek). Why did this rap beef get so much traction? How did Meek become the boogeyman all of a sudden? It was easy to do so, because he "fit the description".

Nowadays, public perception & connections are everything, the truth can only take you so far.

At this point, it doesn't really even benefit Wale to be on MMG IMO. It definitely helped him after the Interscope fiasco but at this point it doesn't even seem like he's there..its not as tight as it was in the beginning for him despite Meek and Ross still seeming to be close.
I dont understand why he doesnt leave...that ambition album wave is OVER, he got what he needed from MMG to remove the stench of attention deficit. He good now, I barely even look at him as an MMG artist to begin with, he might as well get his One Blue Moon wave started and keep it moving. I just think homie is too stretched out musically and as an artist, his niche is music for the ladies with hot rnb on the hook, do that and keep pushing

Yeah for a minute I was thinking he had left MMG cause he pushes Blue Moon way more on social networking.

I don't like this shyt either.
1. I agree Meek makes himself look stupid but what has he actually done? Bad mouthed people in some tweets. :merchant::whoa::why: Rap fans are too sensitive, this isn't life or death. I said the same thing when 50 was pissing everybody off. There are many worse deed commited in the world than saying bad things about another rapper...

2. "Street dudes" have a many different personalities. These are people not comic book characters...
No I'm saying why are posters saying that street dudes who grew up fatherless are fakkits emotional and should be hated. You want me to quote some of the posts so you can see what i mean. Not saying oople not like how Meek moves. Im talking about posters directing the hate towards being fatherless and poor as if it's our fault we grew up poor or fatherless. When has it ever been cool to say fatherless. Ever. This shyt sounds extremely racist and all the plea copping is having Meek look at people sideways.

How old are you?

Some of these tweets could've been phone calls my G

I'm 29.

I agree 100% that they should have been phone calls if they are "friends". BUT if you aren't close with the guy (especially by now) maybe Meek feels more like calling the nygga out (like Wale lowkey did on the interview) than chopping it up on the phone. Some people don't deserve decorum :yeshrug:

I never condoned what he did, just pointed out the hypocrisy between us forum users who do the exact same thing (emotional ass long responses) but expect more out of a "street nykka"

Implying that this could have been done over a phone call is not necessarily true IF their relationship is dead. I only chop it up on the phone with people I fyck with ( :whoa: ) so I understand Meek not wanting to give Wale the time via phone just to save face. They are entertainers end of the day and if he doesn't mess with Wale like that anymore, why not make entertainment out of it and get us talking vs. trying to save face in private if he doesn't care about dude.

You will see way more instances of the streets being used as a badge of honor and proof of authenticity. Is was the main thing being used in Meeks defense against Drake. I don't see people going at street dudes in total as much as they are going at Meek. Some folks do act like being from the streets precludes you from being soft or weak though. "Fatherless" is just a silly and misguided thing that people say on here.
