I like meek as an artist.
I don't dislike dude. But it exposes an element of behavior that growing up hard exaggerates.
Fact is, when you grow up in a war zone, it changes your ability to move around people who didn't. And Meek hasn't learned how to do this.
Remember when dude had to take etiquette classes? People laughed, but maybe that was one of the best things that should have happened to him. Dude is really in need of some shaping that will allow him to integrate into society instead of trying become his own worst enemy.
I totally feel that, especially the part that I bolded, due to my upbringing. I wasn't a "street dude", but I grew up in crack era Harlem... I had to unlearn a lot of habits when I made a bunch of friends in college who weren't from that background. Then entering the workforce was culture shock again, because now I had to become fake cool with a bunch of people that I have little to nothing in common with.
Like I said in my previous post, part of me feels like Meek has never been completely comfortable around Wale, simply because of how Wale presents himself.
