Too many rappers doing too many concerts that cost too much money. People complain about buying physical albums, but be out here spending all kinds of money on weak ass concerts. I mean 50 was dope and I def didn’t pay a lot. These rappers need to make their concerts affordable again.

It kind of goes to show who's really legendary and who ain't. Sorry but those guys were never a movement like 50, Wu, Nas, Jay-z, even Snoop and Cube. They sold records in their time and had nice runs. But think about how they were really received compared to how those acts I mentioned were received. Their impact pales in comparison to all those guys. Did Rick Ross ever even have a physical platinum selling album?

Nah they ran this tour the past 2 years but they had Jeezy and Boosie on the ticket too. Boosie got kicked off for acting an ass. We went twice over the past 2 years and Jeezy turned that bytch out. People were leaving after his set. For some odd reason they had Ross closing the show. I don't get that. I love Ross' music but he should be on fro t of Tip and Jeezy.
Yeah that was the Legends of the Streetz tour…this isn’t that though, this is just a random one-off a promoter threw together …Boosie got thrown off the first leg of the actual Legends tour for trying to shake them down for more money :mjlol:

The companies claim Boosie was booked for a total of $150,000 for five different appearances on the tour. Boosie was reportedly given $50,000 before the first night of the tour. They allege that Boosie contacted the president of We Are Live Entertainment demanding more money, and once he was declined, they allege Boosie said he would ruin things

They claim that during the incident, Boosie damaged equipment before getting into it with security, and now they are seeking $525,000 in damages. However, Boosie says that he and his team were attacked with guns by stage people. He said in an Instagram post, “We were attacked with guns by stage people who didn’t supposed to have guns.”

I just thought about that...has he ever had a "successful" tour?
Nope, he has never even sold well, only online is Ross getting flowers. Nikkas try rewrite his beef with 50, even,

Game was offering to help Ross when it was poppin,

"
"Rick Ross, holla at your boy, man," Game continued. "50 eating you, boy."

yet alot of these coli nikkas will claim Ross won

Lil Wayne was the biggest artist in the world and he was doing 1,500 lunchroom capacity shows last year and tickets was $15 on Groupon

99% of Southern Rappers made microwave music, they built their careers on trendy singles.

20,000 people ain’t gonna spend $150 to watch Lil Wayne perform Lollipop, and T.I. to perform Swagger Like Us in 2023

This.

I’ve seen young rappers and legend rappers at concerts. It’s almost laughable to pay over $100 to see someone stand there and get high. I saw Ross live last year and it was one of the worst performances Ive ever seen.

Rick Ross being a big deal was always a weird one to me, lol, he was never that (he got bangers tho). I don't know how he has the IG followers he has, probably bought em, bruh a gold artist. Great business mind though...he flipped the rap money into businesses, gotta respect it. But yeah, this isn't surprising at all, TI a legend but he don't got diehard stans like Nas, Wu Tang, 50 Cent, etc... These dudes need to swallow their pride and start booking them 2000 capacity type jawns, that's good bread when you selling that out for 100-150 dates a year.

50 and wu basically both sold out Rogers arena. I went to both within a month apart. That nas/wu concert was something else, it was like an east coast up in smoke tour, shyt was crazy, it def made my year going to that concert. Both concerts were top of the line. Ain’t no way Rick Ross or ti doing that they aren’t big enough
