Point is..They're all known yet they got the money together, in a paycheck to paycheck society, to go watch those blonde brats. And those songs aren't iconic or legendary or anything close. That’s like 2/100000000000 artists lol

Nas & Wu are household names from the 90s.
Ok now compare 2000s NY artist not associated with Eminem? Yeah… it’s quiet.
Ontario, California?Maybe because it is in Canada?![]()
No. how to rob made noise but he was not huge. And Bun B had the best verse on power of the dollar.50 cent was huge before Eminem![]()
The media forced everyone to like T.I and Ross. They were never respected like that.
Nah, that would be Drake.Ross is THE most overrated rapper on this board.
You're saying people in Cali don't listen to country music? Or did I read that wrong? Just tryinta get clarity....Taylor Swift is doing excellent..Carrie Underworld is selling out in California and I don't even think they fukk with country music on any level.
I’m 45. I don’t have the same appetite for gangsta music when it’s my kids, nieces and nephews that suffer the results of street violence. We grew upA lot of rap fans of those particular sounds are fairweather. I hate saying it but it's true. If you're overly concerned with "the streets" and "the culture" it's a never ending Zeitgeist chase and you're constantly rocking with the new thing every summer cause the old thing is "played out" or "washed"...
It ain't even a knock on those artists cause they're great, but the modern hip-hop narrative hates preservation and legacy acts...

17k is an arena capacity even if it didn’t officially happen in an “arena”. Madison square garden’s capacity is 19,500. Capital One capacity here in dc is 20k. And that’s the sports capacity. Concert capacity is usually smaller because you have to cut off a section due to the stage and equipment.I don't need Google. I was at the show.
That's not an arena.
it's really only most of southern rap acts from the early-mid 2000s that didn't go international. It's interesting how a lot off the big rap artists post 2000s never really gained much off an international fanbase, like a lot of 90s act did
meanwhile Nas,Wu,50 selling out 20,000+ arenas all over the world.
Told yall, Southern hip hop has aged terribly..
