You'll get more if you deal him now... keeping him on the team when it's a fact he's leaving (which I've been telling you for years) does nothing good and it will draw unnecessary media attention that will not help the team. if you deal him now and get something, you have a chance at a good year, if you keep him and let him walk via sign and trade you're asking for a circus. it won't be Dwight level crazy because Love is smarter than that, but it won't do anything positive for the team.

But again, what are they getting? Who is this guy or asset that's so good you can't pass it up? Cap space? They'll get it regardless. A PF? They can get that wherever. The SG we've been looking for? Rubio has a point. K-Love was never interested in being a leader for the team. Pouts too much, thinks what he does on the court has a bigger impact than it really does, doesn't get back on D and is always willing to question what others should be doing instead of figuring out what he can do to fix that problem.

Love doesn't have the heart to be a leader and at least Rubio shows frustration when the team loses instead of Love who can't wait to seem disinterested on the court and then bytch to the media. Kahn put the team in position where it's Rubio or bust. We're fukked but I'd rather lose with Rubio than flirt with mediocrity with Kevin Harden

The Celtics have more assets than anybody for this sort of a deal and it's not even close

They have decent youth, 9 first rounders in next 5 years plus rights to swap with BK who is looking like they're trending downwards

He may want NY or LA but they have nothing to offer

I don't think I'd trade the pick for him if it's top 2

But I'd be willing to give up a ton of first rounders including 17 this year along with Sullinger and Bradley
