I've been saying for the longest that it should have been Rusev vs Ryback at Wrestlemania but that whole "firing" storyline destroyed any type of build for that possibly.

Then again looking back the WWE did horribly booked the Ryback vs Mark Henry match at Wrestlemania years ago

Nikita lost steam when he became a face. He was the stronghold of the Koloffs at the time and probably the only person in NWA who had the build and strength to legitimately take on LOD. He should have stayed a heel the whole time in NWA.

And to raise the stakes even higher - they could have had Reigns equal Kane's Rumble record last year and then made a big deal of whether or not he could break it this year - Throw him in the match early and have him go ham to really sell him to the crowd.

Instead they had him sit in the corner for most of the match and then brought out his cousin to try and get him over when they fukked it up.

It could have been the 'Irresistible Force v The Immovable Object' but nope....

The only way the current build works logically is with Roman turning heel.

He had had one singles match with Orton, was in Philly, and was coming off Magic Bean promos, breh.
Other fan favorites were still tossed out with little fanfare and the subsequent shoddy booking would have still followed.
He was getting booed out of the building regardless.
Ideally, he would have been totally dominant for another year in the upper midcard.
Building that dedicated fanbase, sharpening his mic skills, and getting over organically with dominant booking would have been half the battle.
If they were hell bent on getting him the rub ASAP due to Brock's uncertain future, The Shield should have split 6-8 months earlier than they did.

Lesnar really got fed to Cena..faced Big Show in a stupid ass match, faced Triple H THREE TIMES and heading into WM 30 he was luke worm at best.

To be honest I'm surprised he didn't leave earlier..

I'm pretty sure Ryback is a nice dude, but he's sloppy as f_ck in the ring and I find his matches just as boring if not worst than Roman's matches when he doesn't have anybody fast paced to work with. I'll give Reigns credit for something he doesn't botch and injure people and he gets a rejection even if it's just cheers and boos. I'll never understand the hype for this meathead, Ryback.

Besides the punk "issues", who has he injured?
