Right wing propaganda runs rampant on social media. They are adept at getting their message out. How do we counter?

You can't really counter brain worms and the infection of thought. Consider what ties all the right wing content together. It's not the politics, it's the conspiracies. You start with aliens, where you obsess over shadowy powerful forces that are hiding the truth from us. The government is lying to you. Experts are lying to you. Scientists are lying to you. Historians are lying to you. If you consume that all day what are you going to think about expertise and knowledge? You're going to question basic facts and reality. That's why this always follows a very basic pathway from aliens to ancient civilizations to the moon landing to covid to Russia/Putin...and then suddenly you reach the end point of the ride: race IQ and "Hitler was misunderstood" sentiments. Because, after all, the experts are lying to you and there are two sides to everything right?

You can't counter that programming because it's been honed for a very long time. At its core this is the same process that cult members go through. It's similar to what religious extremists go through as well, which is probably why there's been such a deliberate effort to tie religion into the alien thing (see: Tucker Carlson's claims about aliens being angels and demons). All you can do is wait for it to crash on itself when people realize how unhappy, ignorant, and emotional this stuff has made them.

Many fail to grasp that individuals on the right avoid accountability for the misinformation they spread, maintaining solidarity and pressing forward. They stay on code and keep their red bubble large.

While those on the left are quick to punish any person who deviates from any beliefs or anytime they make a mistake. They completely stop supporting them. Then the right also punishes these individuals, further isolating them. As a result the blue bubble gets smaller and smaller not only in media but in everyday social circles.

If the presidential election is what matters most, the Democrats don't need a comparable presence on social media to win. Platforming is a liberal millennial hang-up; it's not a silver bullet.

The distinction between Democrats, Liberals, Leftists, and the Left Wing matter in looking at this.

As long as the primary consultants for the Democratic Party are these white, college-educated, young professional managerial class liberals (the kind of people Hillary took on), they'll always be a messaging problem for numerous reasons, number one of which is that these types have an aversion to mass politics.

A lot of people on the left don't know how to argue with people on the right. Many of them can't even argue with neutral people since they lack any skill in regards to persuasion. No, facts alone is not enough. It's never enough. This is the part that the left seems to forget. This lack of understanding shows in their media too.

It's not venting, it's complaining. Right wingers do it on everything. You watch a video about how to cook pasta correctly and some fakkit right winger is in the comments complaining.

The left is definitely losing the online battle, but a majority of the content that is just content comes from left wing people who are just doing it to do it.

Like a left wing guy will do calisthenics, or play guitar, and it's just a video about calisthenics or playing guitar. A right winger will do it and he has to show the America flag in the background or wear a shirt, say some slick shyt "libs can't do this work out!" The Left is actually really good at getting the message out it is just that their message sucks. They behave as if they're moral authorities or intellectuals but most of them are just regurgitating what they're supposed to believe and following an esthetic. They refuse to meet people where they're at and act like a male space or masculinity is a threat and that is not palatable to most men. The right meets men where they are. You workout, play video games, watch movies, like comedies? They are there and trying to be as funny and present themselves as one of you who wants the left to stop politicizing and ruining everything. Leftist were there in these communities before rightwing dudebros and grifters in fact they were mainstream and given high positions within these communities. There was a real move to inject leftist politics into comics, games, films and lame critics who few people agreed with or liked were platformed to influence the culture this was all basically the beginning of comicsgaters and their rightwing pipeline. Joe Rogan would talk about trans in sports and comedy being under attack constantly and would platform far right grifters and crackpots and have chill conversations with them.

How to counter? Stop trying to shame or antagonize men all the time. Be entertaining. I don't watch any rightwing guys but anytime I try to watch these guys on the left they can't help but act bytch made, pandering to women. Pushing 30 but larping as a bisexual teenager, sickening shyt would not want to associate with these guys IRL.
