The Colonel.Abrams Saga part 1 - YouTube

For those who were kids in the 80's, Colonel Abrams was part of the soundtrack to our youth. Especially coming up in Newark where house music is prevelant. Reminds me of cookouts, block parties in the summer, watching my older cousins get dressed on a Friday/Saturday night so they can hit up the Zanzibar, Paradise Garage, Club 88. So many great memories.
Preach. He actually came to the Peppermint Lounge once, where I worked summers back in the late 80's, he was a really cool dude.
This jam used to snap.
It's criminal how little credit he gets considering he really was one of the first dudes to really put House in the mainstream.
Remember when Bill Bellamy use to host comedy night at the Peppermint before he blew up?
Just saw a few people post on IG that he past a few days ago. For all my house heads, you know how hard these songs use to go. They were staples of my childhood.

Colonel Abrams was a trendsetter and would have been bigger if Stock Aiken and Waterman hadn't jacked his style
