The pistons could put up points vs teams they needed to. 05 finals they put up 95,95, 96, 101 points in four of the games, and they averaged 93pg all season.
Na..... they ain't a good match up against teams that shoot at volume or range of Warriors.
They'd be doing the correct "run back on defense and defend the PAINT" thing and Warriors would rain 3's on them like Xerses immortal army in 300.
And since they didn't have a lot of players on the squad that could match them 3s, yet alone one. They couldn't out "2pt" the Warriors 3s with that struggle offense.
Plus how does one stop this
Most great perimeter defenders are instructed to guard around underneath the arc. But when cats start shooting from 3-10 feet from the arc and making it, its hard to defend that.... not to mention how its going to spread the time out for other open guys.
