Yeah it is. I've been thru it breh. My moms tried to to do that shyt twice. I love her to death but I've told her more than once that was some selfish ass shyt. I'm well aware how that shyt fukks a family up breh.

I've been through it myself, both personally and my grandma recently told me a story about how my mom tucked me and my siblings into bed one night was preparing to kill herself until my grandma called her out of the blue that night. I hadn't heard that story til recently and my initial reaction was to feel some type of way but I also understood it.

I've rationalized killing myself at points. The shyt's scary. People are free to think of it as selfish but you don't know what's going on in people's heads no matter how close you are to them. And that's not me trying to diminish your feelings on the matter.

I hate when people say Suicide is selfish but offer little help to the person. Sometimes suicide is the cure. You don't have to worry, hurt or pretend anymore. How good of a friend or mother can you be if you don't even know how to love yourself? People like being selfish when it's convenient but suicide seems to be an exception for whatever reason. You just can't form healthy relationships or be normal when you're battling yourself, I'm sorry.

Social media is the bane of our society, I'm telling you - no good ever comes from it. Everyone is out there living a lie and putting up a front. I can imagine that living a double life can be mentally draining for anyone.

I've noticed that the people who are most active on social media are usually the most depressed and/or don't have their shyt together in real life. There was one dude I know who would always post shyt about "living the life" on his SM pages and then it turned out that he was just renting out someone's living room and he ended up having to move out a few months later because he couldn't afford the rent.

I know one dude who was always talking about his 6 cars and big house and all this other baller shyt, then out of nowhere he posted about how he was out of work for 6 months and was praising God for getting a job. You could feel the struggle through the screen.

Nothing about social media is real. It's all MySpace angles, photoshopping, scam money and facades

She's from my neighborhood and I went to middle school with her.

She didn't commit suicide.

Her boyfriend killed her in a murder suicide (& put it on snap chat). That's the word around the neighborhood (I didn't personally see the snapchat) .

She's also been living in Houston despite being from Philly.

She's been gone for a few days, unfortunately - is there any update? It just seems her last IG post was a little eerie, like a foreshadowing of sorts
