There would be no Maury without Jerry Springer….he was the king of trash tv during a time when it was completely taboo.
Most parents didn’t even allow they’re kids to watch that show back then. I had to sneak and watch it but some of the shows were so bizarre and crazy it freaked me out lol
On the Springer show, nobody was safe. Whites, blacks, Asians, gays, lesbians, trans, racists, midgets etc….all were into fukkery, got assaulted or embarrassed on tv. It was crazy

I’d be lying if I said I cared. Jerry Springer, among others, was responsible for assisting in tarnishing black men and women’s images daily on free television, for years. He regularly promoted trashy behavior (often scripted) for the sake of ratings at the expense of my people. I’m not going to make the obvious connection, but nah I’m cool on him.
