Broke my heart, was literally at lunch with my cousin yesterday and we were talking about him and some of the gun celebrations

He was immensely talented, really don’t take a rocket scientist to see he might’ve been depressed

I know these young men feel hella pressure. I hope these guys feel appreciated and love outside of football. God bless his family and the family of the old head who died in the crash a few months earlier. All around tragedy

Yeah not really the time to go in-depth about it, but breh definitely gave off the vibe of being reckless. Had the sawed off shotgun celly against USC then was laughing about it on the sidelines, then speeding on the wrong side of a street? Breh was pretending to be in GTA or some shyt. These young guys really do feel they're invincible until it's too late sometimes

RIP he possibly could’ve recovered from the charges. He is the only one who knows what he was going through

Breh, I was a social worker before. I had cases with people with suicidal depression because accidental homicide.

CTE degenerates the brain over time, Lacy was only 25. You throwing it around it just fukking careless.

Wrong.

1) Kyren Lacy was the age of a 3-4 year NFL vet.

2) Everyone’s exposure isn’t the same. Singular events can accelerate issues ie Antonio brown the Burfict hit

3) There is significant case study of guys displaying erratic behavior that young. Titus Young immediately comes to mind. Extreme crash out by year 2, age 23. Google him

Demetrius Underwood—-who my cousin played with and I personally saw was unhinged—-and Aldon Smith also come to mind

With all that said I DONT think this is a cte case bc of the documented story, but to call dude out like he’s “careless” nah fukk outta here it’s a valid thought

But when I cite a 144% rise in Black male suicide the past 10 years where many see leaving the earth as a way out, an actual EPIDEMIC, the CTE thing carries just as much weight, right?

Nahhhh he was fukked the moment he left the scene of the accident.

It’s bad enough to leave the scene of accident, but someone dying from it as well, that’s jail time with no way out of it.

Why are some cats in here acting like this kid was some sort of saint just because he took his own life? Condolences to his family but killing himself rather than dealing with the consequences of his actions are the same exact reason he fled the scene after killing that man and declared for the draft the very next day.

They’re showing more sympathy for him than the person that he actually killed.

that's exactly where im at. accidents happen - choosing to leave someone dead after said accident and not even report it is entirely different though and that changes everything

Right before his case for that car accident was coming up

He probably thought his life was over, since he was more likely to face some time and the NFL probably wouldn’t be calling

Chris Henry had it at 26.5
