I think the top tier superstars (in battle rap) actually make some nice breakd, anywhere between 10k and 20k per battle. Do enough a year and you could fukk around and see 6-figures, that's successful.

Then you got the dudes who are kinda known even outside of battle rap, like the for real big dogs like the Surf's and Mook's and Lux and Hitman and them, Cassidy...them types...they probably get anywhere from 30-40k to battle...maybe even 50k depending on the opponent/event. It really depends on profile, the bigger the name the bigger the ROI for the league.

Really 10k--20k, 30k-40k per battle?. For everybody or only for a winner? How do you know? Do you have the link for that how the system work, etc?

For each battler, battle rap has been this way for over a decade (obviously the numbers are higher than before but still)

And it's fair, telling someone to write 3 full songs worth of material and perform it is a job in itself, before we get to talking about who won or not

There is no "link" to give you. battlers and league owners openly talk about this shyt in vlogs/interviews all the time, usually when nikkas are arguing or lying about something. Murda mook started it when he mentioned he got 20k to battle iron solomon at Summer Madness 2 back in 2012

How are they (Battle Rap Founders, Smack, and whoever) able to afford to pay a bunch of battle rappers?

Smacks YouTube channel doesn’t even post battles anymore..

Just teaser trailers for battles on their other platforms…and those trailers do like 70k views :mjlol:

They do interviews (face offs) with people battling each other and those generally do like 250k views..

So they are generating millions of views WITHOUT even showing battles :dead:

Now add their actual battle viewership …these sold out venues ..their ads..they all have deals with certain platforms/sponsors etc…

Smack, organik (king of the dot) etc. have tons of revenue to throw at these rappers

The same way the UFC/boxing is able to pay people, just on a smaller scale :jbhmm: what are you getting at cuz these are pretty surface level questions you'd be able to figure out for yourself at a glance

Dont want to derail this thread, but Calicoe had that energy because Pat was on some extra disrespectful shyt with his boy in a previous battle (Marvwon).

Pat & Marv did patch things up a couple years ago though

Good looks. It makes sense as I do remember his battle with Marv. At the time it was cringe cause Pat did go below the belt with Marv with his brother . Cal standing up for Mav being a Detroit dude also makes sense.

it Used to be a website. Watchbattlenet or something. I was hyped for that Cassidy goodz battle smh

Battle rap is not easily accessible as one would think. U will be waiting if u want to watch on YT. Smack insta flag those channels that upload. It’s impossible to watch on YT. The community so small it’s easy for him to block channels. Ain’t many uploading battle rap. Reddit made it easier to get illegal battles. But it don’t matter since all smack battles are free during the first run on Caffeine
