I just found out. I’m very saddened by this.
He’s probably the only person on this site who I met outside of these forums. I ran into him at a Mets game. How he carried himself on here is exactly how he was when I met him. Super chill, had a Syracuse hoodie on. By this time the Coli has started and he was clearly not gonna make the jump, but I still kept touch with him on Twitter and what have you. We’d still talk Yankees and Syracuse stuff and even though he wasn’t gonna come back here, he still asked for y’all like he knew y’all. Now every time the Yankees leave men on base I’m gonna wish he’d tweet to me “The L.O.B. Brigade is back!”
I saw his wedding pictures. He was proud of being a stepdad. He finally settled into a situation where he was gonna be fine for the rest of life. I just feel so bad for his wife and stepdaughter. They lost a true kind man.
