the porsche carrera gt is one of the last "raw" hypercars of it's generation.
mid engine, rear wheel drive, 6 speed manual. not limited by a bunch of computers like recent supercars. that's why they're still so sought after. hardcore enthusiast love that car because it gives an experience that modern supercars don't give anymore. that threat of danger.
it got a bad rap for being difficult to drive when it first came out but people need to understand this car wasn't built for novice drivers. it wasn't built for the "everyday driver". that's what a lot of these rich people with more money than skill need to understand.
dudes be having absolutely no experience at the track but want to drive a hypercar to it's limits. that's why so many of these cars wind up getting wrecked.

1:12.40 around ring knutstorp. faster than a ford gt
1:19.70 around bedford autodrome west. faster than an enzo
it put up great times everywhere while it was in production and those times still hold up well to this day.
