I don't see how most of yall watch raw & smackdown every week.
when it comes to raw & smackdown, I usually just watch the highlight videos on dailymotion. and if I see something worth watching, I click on the full show & search for it.
FOX just did them a favor. plus they can put all the serious wrestlers to use that they've been stealing in the talent raids.
nah. they just want them to be more like WCW.
people may not be aware that Rupert Murdoch was rumored to be starting his own wrestling promotion, right before WCW took over and ended up sparking the last wrestling boom.
FOX knows what theyre doing. they didn't pay the WWE all that money for them to be putting up the type of ratings that theyre garnering right now.
for all that, they could've spent less money signing up a better promotion.

Demand a playfighting show to be a legit serious sport
I think they just want it to be like NXT or old school NWA/WCW. Which I think is a necessary move. While SmackDown has been alright this year, it's been booked as more of a diet RAW than anything, there's really not much difference between the two shows. Hell they're recycling the Strowman/Ziggler/Mac storyline with The Bar and the Big Show. Having SmackDown as the workrate show and RAW as the superstar/sports entertainment type show would be best for business imo.

I don't know, this screams Vince thinking he needs more soap opera shyt. Which will still be comedy, albeit non intentional.
New Japan is not suited for weekly episodic TV at all breh, and ROH would tank in the ratings.
Booking a sports based product isn't what Vince is known for so I wonder if he lets HHH and co have a little more control of SD! Or will Vince double down lol The thing is if Fox wanted a sports based product they were probably better off just giving New Japan/ROH a smaller bag and seeing what they could do

Some news site I follow on twitter posted this and they were actually dozens of people in the replies that were mad that WWE would lose their comedy and Truth TV
To which I was like fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuck you, what "comedy" does WWE produce with their stale writing? this was literally Wrestling fans complaining to be Wrestling fans knowing damn well this is what they wanted for years
No one saying you cant have some comedy entertainment but they are saying cut the corny PG esque shyt and be more like NXT or Old pre Monday Night Wars WWF then GOOD

A 4 hour block of wrestling?? On a weeknight??
I think Fridays can work for wrestling, I just think Mondays are better for the hardcore
male demographic if that's what they're aiming for with a more 'serious' tone.
