I think it's easier to build around Embiid who can score inside and out and defend than to build around a big PG who wouldn't shoot to save his life. Dude got shooter phobia or some shyt. Pair Embiid with a SF, PG, SG who could shoot and this team is playoff bound every year.
We technically don’t know what Ben Simmons ceiling is as he doesn’t seem to care enough to try and show it. That’s the difficult part in trading him. We don’t know if he can really shoot or is it just he can’t/doesn’t want to.

the injury shyt is the problem with Embiid. If not for his durability, I'd toss that beige half nikka in the bushes.
Embiid had years to take the lead and be the man. He failed ever single time and he just dont have the heart or the mindset. He just a bytch plain and simple.
Simmons only weakness is jump shooting but if he had shooters you dont have to worry about that plus he younger and dont have injuries like Embiid.

Damn JoJo. The injuries are the killer. If he could stay healthy, it's not a debate IMO.
There’s also the issue where Simmons always seems to perform better when Embiid is out.
