And luckily I was around when some of those original j's came out and some of them were not popular :mjpls:

When they came out again all of a sudden they're popular. Same thing with the foamposites. Trends are trends. 15 years from now some of the lebrons or KD's will be more popular then when they first dropped. Why? Because Nike won't make a lot of them so they will be limited edition which will increase the resell value.

embarrassing post and thread.

Retailers Sold Over a Million Pairs of '72-10' Air Jordan 11s

"While Nike's yearly Air Jordan 11 release usually comes with an aura of exclusivity, actual sales figures reveal how mass produced the shoes truly are. According to data from SportsScanInfo, retailers sold 1,073,649 pairs of the "72-10" Jordan 11 in December, 2015.
Sales numbers for the shoe appeared in a report investment banking firm Sterne Agee sent out today."

then to follow up......

'Space Jam' Air Jordan 11s Were Nike's Biggest Release Ever

"The most recent launch of the "Space Jam" Air Jordan 11 took things a step further, becoming not only the biggest release of 2016, but Nike's biggest release ever, topping the previous year's Air Jordan 11 "72-10."

but if we let you tell it, jordan/nike keeping these shoes "limited" and "low quantity"

:heh:

You left out ONE IMPORTANT STAT

383,094 men's pairs and 690,555 kid's

:mjpls: so lets act like that don't matter.

And lets act like stores don't stock certain sizes so they can resell them at a higher price on line neither :mjpls:

here are more facts for you to ignore you idiot :mjlol:

"Jordan raked in $110 million — $78 million more than James in second place — from Nike thanks to $2.8 billion in revenues for the 2016 fiscal year for Jordan Brand. The big boss man at Jordan pulled in nine figures this year alone thanks to those massive sale numbers — Forbes says Jordan’s revenues were up 18 percent over 2015 — and he remains the king of the shoe game with no real competition. For comparison, Jordan made as much as the top six current players — LeBron to Rose — combined in 2016."

bbbbbbbbut jordan brand only sells "limited" quantities right? :heh:

he said jordans in the 90s "weren't that popular" but jordans are what started the shoe craze and people were getting killed for them. so which is it?
ppl were getting shot for unpopular shoes? :ohhh:
