I was happy as hell that Tugg Speedman won the Oscar that year for that film.

People understand satire. But out of all the jokes they could have done why choose Blackface?

And if he wanted to be so witty with satire he should have dressed up like a Jewish person instead. And found out how well that would have gone over.

But they didn't because they knew that "satire" wouldn't be tolerated so they choose Black people instead to mock because k00ns like Jaime will give them a pass.

Tom Cruise played a Jewish exec. He was willing to exploit and sacrifice everyone for the bottom line.

I don't get it. The same gripes these people have with that part/role is the exact reason it was done - AND explained.

Whether or not people think the movie is enjoyable/funny/good is another thing, but attacking the black face angle is ridiculous.
