Apart from the Jordan years and LeBron in 09, Steph is having the greatest individual season I've ever seen. I agree with Horry. :manny:

Averaging 30 PPG in only 34 minutes on 51/46/91 is absurd. We won't see anything like this for a long time.

He's right :manny: More efficient too.

Prime Kobe would not win a ring with the Warriors as presently constituted. :manny:
Steph Curry doesn't win a ring the way the Lakers were set up in '10 against that Celtics team. :yeshrug: Doesn't mean that much. Teams are constituted differently depending on the personnel, particularly on whoever the star player is. Prime Kobe wouldn't be a "great" fit for this Warriors team because their #2, #4, and #5 best player essentially play the same position Kobe does. But if you gave Kobe different players of EQUAL TALENT of an Iguodala, Barnes, and Klay - just at other positions - then they'd easily be favorites to win a title.

It is pretty ridiculous. But we also saw Kobe go for 29 40-point, 10 50-point, 3 60-point, and 1 80-point game over the course of two seasons. Not to mention multiple months of 40+ppg.

I could go on and on but you've heard it all before. Prime Kobe was an absolutely all-time ballistic scorer on Wilt/Jordan levels at points. To say Curry is better now is stretching it IMO.

Well, I mean. Curry is a better shooter, thats without question. They're shooting range is about the same but the efficiency Curry has within that range is far above Kobe's no doubt. They both would pull up from 40 and both would hit. Curry just hits waaaay more even if guarded. I dont think he is more skilled than Kobe though. Offensively, I don't think any players are more skilled offensively than Kobe, Carmelo and MVP Durant. Curry is better than all of them at one thing WITHIN their skillset and that is shooting.

Because he was shooting 27 times a game in that 05-06 season. Curry is averaging his 30 with just 19 shots.

Kobe was unreal but Curry's scoring dominance and absurd efficiency is unheard of.

It is what it is. Steph is taking 11 3's game. Granted his efficiency is sky high but everybody scores in different ways.

I don't penalize Jordan for shooting a consistent 22-28 shots throughout his career and he is definitely still the greatest scorer of the modern era.
