Kobe has to be the most overrated defensive player ever lol.
Its Jeter status.

There's very little evidence that Kobe's defense meant anything to the Lakers from 2004-13. There's even a few seasons where they were actually better when he was on the bench. 98% of his value came from offense.

Gotdamn travesty this dude is more decorated defensively than Scottie Pippen & Sydney Moncrief.

And not to say he was bad on defense but to use that as a reason to justify him being better than Steph in his prime is asinine. :heh:

Who is penalizing Kobe for taking shots? I'm just saying you can't ignore the shot attempts. You've watched Curry right? You see where he shoots from. If he shot a lot more, he would score a lot more.
Again, you can say that about a lot of players, namely Bron and Durant. I'm saying that it takes a lot to put up more shots and at this point I think there have only a been small few players that have been able to do it. That's it.

Bottom line, as a scorer, I don't think 2016 Curry is a better scorer than 2006 and 2007 Kobe based on what we've seen so far.

Nah you're wrong. 2010 playoffs. Kobe switches onto westbrook and shut him down leading to a Laker blowout. You could argue that shifted the momentum in that series

Lebron stans stanning Curry now:mjlol: Y'all hate for Kobe run that deep brehs??:heh:
Why would we Stan the player who took LeBrons crown as best player?

We're just keeping it real. If Curry shot as much as Tobe did he'd average more on far less shots.

And yes our hate runs that deep. fukk that nikka.

I think all of the guys mentioned could go for crazy numbers if they just dominated the shooting duty for their teams. It takes a special scorer to be able to do it, but these are all special scorers.

I don't have to see them ballhog it to know they're capable.
