Thread title is misleading, he's only talking about offense.

Offensive I might agree, Curry literally has to be guarded tightly at all times once he passes half court. His shooting ability allows him to warp defenses in ways that no other player can & he's still shooting an incredible FG%, even if you don't consider the ridiculous shots he takes. He's also a more willing passer than Kobe ever was which makes him even more dangerous.
But if were talking the full package, I'm still going with Kobe. Curry never guards the other teams best perimeter player, let alone locks him up. Kobe could go get you the same amount of points (albeit with poorer shooting %s) while also shutting down the other teams best player. Steph will never be able to do that

Kobe Bryants defense is the most overrated thing in NBA history

That was a younger Russell whom Kobe defended . I see that you forgot that the Lakers got their ass whopped by the Thunder in 2012 playoffs. :youngsabo:

Why don't you also show the 2010 1st round playoff series in which Kobe locked down Russell. By 2012 Kobe was coming off 3 straight NBA chips, his knees were going.....

Kobe met the Canadian, who "stole" his MVPs, in the playoffs and proceeded to let his entire team get bodied and carved up by said Cac. :mjlol:

Where was this elite defense when Nash was embarrassing his entire squad? :jbhmm:

Take the opposing team's best offensive player out, my ass :pachaha:

Let a 6'3 Cac come back from a 1-3 lead and talk about elite defense, brehs. :mjlol:

put chef on those squads babybeanthegawd went back to back with

imagine how shytty those teams would be

kobe is leaving at the right time and chef is rising at the right time

the era of heroball is fading and the more teamball centered wave is popping

the boy chef is performing amazingly as the crown jewel of the gsw machine

but he isn't a one man team like the gawds of old such as kobe etc.

gsw coaching and teamplay have more to do with their success than chef dropping his shots

don't get blinded by the lights
