Self driving cars?

Wouldn't the only way it would work if every single car was self driving?

This will affect the developing world the most. Agribusiness and logistics probably second. Any profession is in danger.

And no it won't take every car to self drive. For the ultra efficient network imagined, it will, but you will see inching towards it with every mid priced model. People will end up adapting to the self driven cars, then we will fade out as drivers.

These geeks cant create "if,then, else" programs for every job. Jobs will be created elsewhere - although most will require high levels of skill/education.

Hopefully we'll have robot policemen ready to handle the unbelievable amount of crime that will come with the high levels of unemployment.

:francis:

Better hope more minorities get into programming too because otherwise, the CACs will be programming those robot policemen.

These companies dont even want to pay humans $7 an hour, you think they are going to invest millions into some robots?
:usure:

Yes, very likely.. B/se robots don't need minimal wage, health insurance, vacation days/sick days/maternal leave, retirement/401K, social security. Don't forget no worry about being sued for wrongful dismissal, injury negligence, discrimination/sexual issues. All the fun stuff that humans in an "Progressively Enlightenend Contemporary" society mandate. :sas2:
