This was one of the couple records on the album that needed time to grow on me. This and the Ice-T joint. I like both of them now. This one reminds me of Grey October mixed with Belvedere.
Also reminds me of 3rd Person off Bo Jackson, Guilt from Super Tecmo Bo, Final Board off Continuance etc. All those tracks are towards the very end of those albums. They're like these cathartic sounding beats that almost feel like the emotional climax of the albums. To me it shows there's a deliberate way in which Alch is crafting these albums to have a beginning, middle, and end.

Listened again couple of days ago, the way he ends it :mjcry:

Breh, this albums been on my running playlist since it came out. Sometimes this track kicks in when I’m out on the docks in the harbor with all of the gulls flying around, bobbing and weaving through older folks out on a peaceful stroll, and holding back one tear because I’m thinking about how beautiful my life is :ohlawd:
