Listening to Roc Marci is entertaining as fukk.. the adlibs and humor and the references are always top notch. I get why he prefers to flow over minimal drums. He lets the lyrics and the voice shine to let people focus on what he saying.

The few guest verses he had on here worked well too.

This is right now my second fav project from him. Reloaded still got the throne.

It's been a good music year brehs let's eat.

Alternating between Conway, Roc Marci and Lupe is goldly status :blessed:

I'd say the same thing about seeing Ka live as well.

I might be alone in thinking this, but I think Ka's live show should be some art installation shyt, with films based on the subject matter of each album playing behind him (eg Throne Of Blood for Honor Killed The Samurai or The Manchurian Candidate for Dr. Yen Lo) All his music is super vivid too, on some mahogany shelf library shyt, and the lack of drums makes it sound like a film score anyway :ehh:

I agree with you ka should make it like a experience rather than a show

His music has that potential almost like a art show exhibit

I'm saying - I'd pay $30 to sit in a darkened auditorium off the edibles and watch the OG 'Clash Of The Titans' on a movie screen as Ka stands in a spotlight and reads the bars from 'Orpheus Vs The Sirens' from a giant scroll :manny:
