Pretty much this. His run right now is reminscent of that period when Doom was breaking cats off with 'Take Me To Your Leader', 'Mm...Food', 'Escape From Monsta Island' and 'Madvillainy' like it was nothing.

Just that consistency.

Esperanza Spalding had her album helmed by him a couple of years before that, but yeah - Tip is woefully underused. Man still has bangers and Midnight Marauders is a couple of months away from its 25th anniversary
