Cena was barely on TV during the RTWM but you expect the Rock to be? :mjlol: Cena didn't even explain his actions until like a month after Elimination Chamber.

Rock should have been at Wrestlemania but there was no way he was going to appear on TV with all of the projects he was involved with and I'm sure HHH/creative knew that.

I think Rock should’ve only been there at WrestleMania. Otherwise it was on Cena and his performance and presentation and both failed badly

Yea the internet crybabies really fukked up his plans. I always thought they were overreacting when they bullied the rock out of his match. Those types of opportunities don’t come around more than once and u can understand the rock wanting that match only.

However he showed up after mania again at bad blood and again at chamber. That created interest in a new feud and he is now letting that opportunity slip away as well. Like you said he is getting older and now has leaned out so he better get his retirement match out the way before he can’t perform like he wants to.

No one expects him to beat every mania going forward we just want him to finish his damn story. Retire and go into the HOF. Then he can do 10 more jumanji and Moana for all I care. But right now he has unfinished business

Basically.

And to the point of the business in his prime, I don’t think we’ve ever seen a main adventure be as gracious and is giving as the rock was during his. Not to mention that every time the rock returned to the WWE he brought more intrigued and cachet to the industry, unlike most aging legends, who are just coming back for one last tour. The rock wanted his final angle and retirement match and Cody’s story gotten in the way of that.

Now, that is not Cody’s fault completely because it has more to do with the booking not standard or ground or working that in as well as Cody not handling it right.

I think Cody winning at wrestlemania wasn’t a bad move, but what it led to was his mid title run and since then it’s just been a long run of mediocrity.

Like… I think most of the things see a punk has done in. The last two years has been solid but outside of him, is there any classic angles or fueds going on since wrestlemania 40?

He wasn't originally apart of the plan to begin with either

Cena carrying Rocks bags here... smfh MAD deflection. You can tell it pisses off Cena.

There's definitely some heat there but You're John fukking Cena.

You mean to tell he can't put NO influence or input on YOUR retirement tour?

You gotta be a special level of brain dead to cape for The Rock in any of this shyt lmao
He bailed because he didn't want to do it in the first place. Rock had a plan & HHH had a plan, the problem with HHH's plan is that it required The Rock to be involved. Y'all still being upset about this is some goofy shyt. :mjlol:

It being the Rock's fault would have more credence if the other storylines going were fire.

89% of everything is kinda bad right now. Injury is definitely to blame for a lot of it, but honestly it's been lazy, predictable writing, over the top safe. It hasn't been good IMO since Summer Slam when Rollins cashed in on Punk, and even before then, this year was a clear drop off compared to last year.

I can't believe they pump faked us with quality last year just to go back to a less shytty than with Vince, but still shytty status quo.

Do you believe Rock when Ari called him to appear in Toronto because ticket sales were slow? Do you believe Cena when he said the heel turn was done for a ‘viral moment’? If so, how could you possibly primarily blame Rock here? He’s not head of creative and Cena should be a big enough star to carry it on his own

In the end, the Rock was right. Slighted laxy retirement tour with giving Gunther another legend kill to heat him again after losing to the Rebel for the belt...lol. Cody? Floating. Sad.

The WWE hadn't been the same this year since Rock left television..that speaks for itself. Cena, Cody, Lesnar, Roman..all mediocre. Stephanie Vaquer, Iyo Sky, Becky, Liv, and Bianca shined before the injuries for them. Drew has been legit all year too.

"It changed....now it's this..."

He mean they went from having a story to having no story? :russ: Cena don't wanna step on The Rock's toes and that's cool, I am guessing if we ever get any real info it'll be from The Rock's camp
