Shane retiring him would've been GREAT. Takers always been known as a company guy who always did what was best for the company. Laying down for Shane wouldve been one final hoorah for him. Him willing to take the loss because he believes that Shane will run the company better than his father.

Plus he and Shane have history. Could've had a moment in the ring. Emotional moment that moved the story along, closes the final chapter on Takers career, and ushers in a new era in the WWE. That could've have been a fantastic match


It was all there for Creative to take. Just dumb.
