Luther Vandross got his start singing backup for David....for those who didn't know.

yr in a thread in which clowns are here just to say they don't know who he isHe was one of the most vocal about getting black artist airtime on MTV.
Now the term white supremacy in this case seems vague but if you are referring to something where he helped blacks against racial and social injustice this was a start![]()
congrats.. its still fukk himHe was married to a black woman and fought for black artists to be played on MTV
Beyonce. Jay-Z. Kanye West. When MTVlaunched in 1981, viewers would have been hard-pressed to find black artists, such as the three named above, on its airwaves. The network so sparingly showcased African Americans in its early days that musicians such as Rick James and David Bowie publicly took it to task, leaving no doubt that MTV and black music have had a rocky history.

While his music wasn't as far reaching into every day society regardless of race like say the band Queen. You've heard Under Pressure either in it's original form or that b*stardized version from Vanilla Ice.
"Buh buh I changed the beat! I added two bass notes! It's a new composition!"
Is this because of his Nazi Memorabilia or you've tales of him doing/thinking/saying racist shyt?
Looks like I gotta make a Bowie Playlist to go along with Lemmy's now.
Also gotta look for my copy of Omikron to play alongside Brutal Legend too.
