Now the term white supremacy in this case seems vague but if you are referring to something where he helped blacks against racial and social injustice this was a start

The network so sparingly showcased African Americans in its early days that musicians such as Rick James and David Bowie publicly took it to task, leaving no doubt that MTV and black music have had a rocky history.

With lemmy i admit the details are sketchy on his racism. Someone need to compile a proper best of Bowie mixtape..the type thecoli would appreciate. Over the weekend my boy played his black star track and little did we know he's be gone in a day or two. Rip.
