but he is not out of pocket in his argument. he is right. when shawn michaels lost to austin and wasn't seen for several years, the wrestling world carried on without him. and it's interesting to think about what shawn's legacy might have been had he not returned. But when Rock comes and goes, the needle has always shifted drastically.

Fact is shawn's prime will always be associated with that period of time before austin and rock came through. in a way he's like the Julius Erving to their Magic and Bird.

And so for these reasons, it becomes tough to argue in favor of hbk.
