Ok, in theory he's not garbage, but on the Knicks I think he is. We're a small jump shooting team that lacks a presence in the paint. The answer to that is not a jump shooting center with basically no presence in the paint. Is this dudes jumper going to carry us in the playoffs? Is he going to draw guys into the middle so melo can get some open shots?

This doesn't make any sense. Either someone is garbage or not. Them not fitting the teams need doesn't make them garbage. And anyway, the Knicks are actually lucky to have him with Chandler out and STAT playing liking crap. Bargs has played much better than anyone expected.

It makes perfect sense. Barg's scoring 20 from the perimeter is not helpful to the Knicks. I'm not saying there's a better alternative, but he's garbage as a center. No rebounds, no post game, spotty defense.. That position demands more than mid range jumpers. Especially on a team that's allready small and relies too heavily on jump shooting. We need easy points and free throws from a center. Not a dude that allows Parsons to iso an dunk uncontested. Parsons, breh.

Look... I didn't think he would be doing half of what he's doing right now. Think of it this way. If STAT had done exactly what Bargs is doing right now, last year, the Knicks may have been in the Eastern Conference Finals.

It also keeps them ignant Toronto fans from coming in threads trying to justify why Novak is a better player to have. Now they can be mad that Bargs has played better in the last 3 games than he's played in the last 3 years in Toronto.
