Dudes shytting on westbrook cause he has terrible shot selection, but apparently strickland would eat in this era? Yeah right lol

Rod's shot selection was better than Westbrook. He had a good mid-range game and was better around the rim. Just wasn't a good 3 point shooter and he rarely took them. The lack of three point shooting would hurt and make him less effective than he was in his time, but I think he could hang in this era.

Lots of PGs eat minus being a good 3pt shooter. His mid game was suspect.

It’s been “fukk the Knicks” for me since he was traded. He was the quintessential NYC point guard....yet they kept Mark from Queens instead
Yeah that decision was crazy because rod was clearly the better player but mark was more of a company dude.
I remember one of my partners was in Buffalo one night and called me saying he saw Strickland posted up with 3 bad redbones like it was nothin...the knicks had played in the Garden earlier that day...my man was like

Nah

Rod was not a good shooter. It wasn’t about the lack of a three-point shot, he didn’t have a good jumper.

Rod couldn’t shoot his midrange was nowhere near Westbrook

His bread and butter was breaking down the defense/playmaking, ball handling, and finishing among the trees below the rim

This feels like an exaggeration. He was a 45% shooter for his career and didn't get to the line as much as Westbrook besides, he always cooked for me in NBA Live:lawd:
