Was randomly watching everyday struggle where they giving out hip hop awards. They was going on about this nikka named Roddy Ricch. Didn't think nothing of it because they hype up wack shyt all the time. But then they mentioned he was from Compton

So I pause that shyt and went to YouTube and played the first thing that came up. "Every Season"

I don't even like all this rap singing shyt, but this nikka is Fire and got real skills and sound hood at the same time

Roddy dope but I swear it be moments where I think I'm listening to lil durk. Too similar sometimes.

He's 10x better than Durk to me. Durk don't even be on beat alot of times.

Also Durk isn't anywhere close the rapper Roddy is. Roddy is a better story teller and has way better bars. Can't say I've ever heard a Durk song like Down Below and Every Season.

Roddy Ricch, Da Baby, and YNW Melly have actually rejuvenated my interests in newer artists

Out of the non superstar tier of rappers, hes easily one of more popular.
