Ill never understand players taking paycuts to help the owners do there jobs....never.

You have a small window as an athlete to maximize ur earnings and you choose to help billionaires do there jobs for them and give ur money away to others....

Kobe is giving them game and they choose not to see it....

To everyone against eliminating the salary cap (don't feel like quoting everybody) I have two simple questions for y'all.

1. If there was a vote by the NBAPA ,do you think the majority would be to keep the salary cap, or to eliminate it?

2. How is the middle class in the MLB (a league without a salary cap) fairing?

Please answer those questions.

1. You want to ask a union if there should be a removal of the cap on their pay? Hmm.... I wonder.. :patrice:. Whether the majority votes yes or no it doesn't change the fact that the regulation is necessary.

2. The median salary of the NBA is double that of the MLB and that will increase significantly once the new CBA kicks in. The people at the upper half of MLB are paid much better than those in the middle.

What are you his accountant??

Black players should never be trying to save billionaire owners from themselves. I wouldn't mind this pay cut if Duncan didn't take the first one. There was no need for a pay cut the first time around.

The money he left is going towards the other players... U know...LaMarcus Aldridge

1. It seems like you know that the players would vote in favor to remove the salary cap. The players ain't dumb, they know whats best for them.

2. You said that the people at the upper half of the MLB are paid much better than those in the middle/ Well Duh:dahell: They are better, they deserve to get paid more. Like I said, is the middle class of the MLB complaining? Let me answer that for you. No they are not.

How is Kobe's plan working out for him and the Lakers? Kobe's contract and me first attitude have the Lakers struggling to sign other quality players to win anything. Duncan isn't helping the Spurs owners as much as he's helping the Spurs team (keyword) build a quality squad to compete for another championship.

Both Kobe and Duncan want the same thing. Ring #6. Only one of them is putting themselves in a position to win it.

Its obvious that he isn't concern only about money and despite that he is one of the richest players to ever play the game and y'all still bytching.
Obviously he isn't concerned with his money since he got taken for 20 mil from his owner and 20 mil from a business associate. 40 mil...:scust:

What's best for the best players pockets isn't always in the best interest of the league. The soccer example above with La Liga is a prime example of what happens no cap in place whatsoever. The Knicks and Lakers would just form all star teams every year because they have the market size to pay for it. The San Antonios of the world would fade into obscurity.

And stop acting like the NBA has an actual hard cap.

We will have to agree to disagree on the subject. I'm not about to keep going back and forth on this shyt.
