not if they protect him. i dont care how good you are, if you face the pressure and lack of running game he's had to deal with for 2.5 games, no one that isnt a super mobile qb is playing well for that team. only prospect im willing to part ways w/ eli for is baker mayfield.
They ain't gonna protect him though, just like they're not going to passably run block. Dating back to 2010, they've had what, one season where we could claim a league average OL?
The man's 36 and their attempts at quick fixes keep flopping (see Marshall + Ellison instead of Whitworth or the defensive fukkery before their 200M spending spree hit) and McAdoo is completely in over his head.
It's best for both sides if they just split this offseason, especially if they really tank out. Giants can freely kick around McAdoo's future, throw in on a deep QB draft, and divert franchise QB money to Odell, Collins, and actually finding a LT better than Flowers and Eli can go help the Jags do some things for a season or two before coming back on a one day deal and being the last number they're probably going to retire.
He is the best qb in his family.
He's probably easily the least terrible human being in his family though, not that that is a high standard to reach.
