This is true (or, at least was). It’s unfathomable that the same company who gave us Martin, In Living Color etc is also responsible for the Oreillys & Hanittys. Now these divisions are owned by two separate companies.
I mean this has been happening since the 90s but Roland is right. They use black audiences and content to pump up their own IP and then give us nothing back. I can understand it happening back then (not really) but there is no excuse to have it happening now. We have too much knowledge for this to keep on happening but we are so short sighted and want the quick money not thinking about the future. Real talk I hate Tyler Perry with passion but he pretty much used the same tactics to become a billionaire. Pumping out horrible content and shows year after year but at least he owns it. He just doesn't have a network which is why Paramount wasn't gonna sell him BET. They know what they doing, they dont want us to own anything. b/c they know we spend the most money out of any demo.

idk i dont feel comfortable with the way tubi plays with race and sexuality like that to be giving them money. its evil
why on earth would you give them personally identifying information and money on top of that

Tubi literally cost nothing. It’s why they’re winning. They give us ratchet entertainment and classic movies. I’m sure other apps would do well if they did Tubi thingsi will watch a clip of something crazy once its on youtube or whatever but you gotta be crazy to install Tubi on your devices like that
