There’s plenty of positive black content on Tubi, along with educational content. If you only want to watch ratchet movies, then they have that for you as well. You can also find those types of movies on Peacock, Prime, and other platforms.
Tubi gives black creators the most dollars for their content and offer a low barrier of entry (for better or worse). No other platform is paying black folks like that for their content. Hell they don’t even let black people put their content up for free.
Roland is upset that his independent platform isn’t receiving the same amount of attention and investment, and he has a valid point in all honesty. However, discouraging black folks from supporting black creators on Tubi is not the solution.
If he was smart, he would try and get a deal to get his daily show on Tubi.
