The SEC has won 60% of the past 15 national championships. The SEC's bowl record was 7-3 last year, the best of any conference. It's the continued dominance of the SEC which rightly or wrongly leads to this bias. If you want to erase the SEC bias other conferences have to beat the SEC during bowl season and ooc play....nothing else is going to change it.

I'm a SEC fan but those are the facts . I Remember a pure feeling ofwhen bama got to have a rematch vs LSU a few years back. Sh1t was unbelievable imo. SEC bias is strong. More specifically SEC west bias is strong. ESPN doesn't give a damn about the SEC east ever. ESPN will always find a way to get Bama or Auburn in the big game

The anchors are told what to talk about by the higher ups. If they are told to talk up the SEC they'll do it even if they don't get a pay raise. Don't believe me look no further then the Tim Tebow fiasco a couple years ago.

This is my honest reaction. Is there bias? Of course. It's in their best interest to promote the teams they have a vested interest in, but the down side is everyone's eventually going to see through the cheerleading. CBS does the same shyt with Verne and Gary when talking about the SEC. NBC does the same with Notre Dame (ND is actually good this year though). I just hate when cats pretend like it doesn't happen with the SEC. ESPN was making excuses for Bama last year after Oklahoma busted they ass in the BCS game.

Auburn's signature win is against an LSU team that beat the pathetic Gators in the final seconds of the game.
