What is false about what he's saying though? IF he's all about the company, why don't he pimp the teams that he's gonna be calling?

You've see the evidence in the thread of their bias overall. Not every single individual on there is gonna show it. Herb is cool with me. That fool got run out of Columbus for knocking OSU

Hey, I get why ESPN is doing it. It's all about ratings and preserving their own interests, I get it. My thing is, don't take me for an idiot and try to deny/deflect the shyt when it s blatantly there. That's all.

ESPN's new deal started in 2014.

this and Herbstreits argument are silly.

Anybody who's a college football fan, has cable. So the 'national TV' ABC angle really makes no difference anymore b/c the people that are watching cfb, are going to watch it on whatever channel. ESPN, ESPN 2, SEC Net all show SEC games in prime time.

How do any of these 1 loss SEC teams have a stronger resume than Oregon? Oregon only lost to a 1-loss Arizona, they destroyed Michigan State and UCLA. Now what's really the difference betwen UCLA and LSU? UCLA only dropped 2 - both to top 20 teams. Arizona only lost 1 game too, beat Oregon.. and they're 12 :dahell:
you could have a point with oregon, but oregon also needed to the pac12 refs to help save them at home vs washington state in the 4th quarter. ucla blew out arizona state, but the rest of their wins are squeakers over bad teams.
arizona is actually getting more respect from cfb playoff poll than the rest of the polls. whats hurting them is they lost to a 3 loss team at home the week after the oregon win, and they have 3 wins by less than 7 points against utsa, nevada, and cal (in which they needed a miracle comeback and hail mary to win).

not related to the above, but its one thing to say that there is bias and its a completely other thing to try and say everything is explained by the bias. thats where you go from simply pointing out whats in front of your eyes and obvious to being a conspiracy nut.

I didn't go to school in any of these conferences so I really don't have a dog in this fight. I'm more of an NFL fan.
But to me, SEC games look like they have more NFL guys on the field. Looks faster. It's more appealing to NFL fans:manny:

When I'm clicking through channels on Saturday, there's no way in hell I would stop and watch an ACC game unless FSU was playing another top team. Same with Big Ten games and Big 12 games. That Baylor/TCU game had absolutely no defense:mjlol:.

Pac 12 is close to the SEC imo. Their offenses out there got a lot of NFL dudes.

LOL at them using CBS and ABC to show they are not bias. I guess we just going to forget about The SEC network with Finebaum powered by ESPN.

So we just gonna act like the SEC isn't the top conference top to bottom? That's not saying they're invincible individually but no other school has to play that level of talent week in and week out. Yeah a school can come beat an SEC team, but they go right back to their conference of lesser competition. There is a bias but only cause the SEC is winning. Just like when Syracuse, Villanova, UCONN, etc. were winning in basketball, the coverage of the Big East was because of that. You want your conference to get more coverage then start winning.:manny:

Non-sense.

Look at how many standout NFL players are from NON-sec schools. You're falling right into the trap. :heh:

When you watch SNF and the starting players tel what school their from, take note next time of what you hear

The issue with FSU is Jameis. They want to see him fail, so that they can fabricate this narrative that his "immaturity" was the downfall of FSU this year.
ESPN his deadly with that build you up to break you down sh!t.

Other than that SEC SEC SEC.

Who sends the most players to the league?

Who gets the best recruits?

  1. The SEC has long been the most dominant conference in college football and they routinely send the most talent to the NFL. This year has been no different, as a whopping 63 SEC players were picked in the 2013 NFL Draft, nearly a full quarter of the entire 254-player pool.

overrated Texas A&M
South Carolina

all get ignored by you people. Those are semi-bad to average teams. None of those schools in their current state are dominating any other Power 5 conference.
