The end goal is fascism. When you weaponize wokeness, you instead promote ignorance. And with ignorance, you have power. The gop is currently going after the easy targets, but what needs to be understood is that the gop does not care about its voting base. The war on wokenes is just another distraction.

The gop wants to strip away as many rights as possible. No unions, you cannot sue the big employees, you cannot sue the police department. Less funding. I could go on.

And they keep pressing the issue. They chinked away at Roe v Wade legally in conservative circles until they finally had enough Supreme Court justices to get the job done. It took 49 years. And now they have multiple justices who are attacking the right to privacy, which opens the door to eliminating gay marriage AND interracial marriage.

This is why you cannot negotiate with these people. And frankly, this is why voting is essential. I think Biden has largely been a failure on multiple fronts, and the current democrat house/senate isn't much better. I'm not even a democrat, I'm just a liberal dude. But you can bet you're ass I'll be voting in November, and I'll be voting for Biden or whoever is the nom in 2024. Because the alternative is a slow march to fascism that is steadily getting faster. These people have to be stomped out. The good news is that shytcanning Roe v Wade clearly woke people up, and the elections since then make that clear. Republicans are probably going to fail to re-take the senate due to that. And they might fukk around and fail to take the House. And yet they don't give a fukk, because moving the ball down the field of fascism is all that matters to them. Doesn't care if they lose the ball..they're going to get the ball back again, at which point they will keep doing the same thing.

Yes, the problem is that Biden or Kamala likely wouldnt be challenged in a primary in 2024. If Biden and/or Kamala hold in 2024 then I really like Newsom against DeSantis in 2028.
